Landscape photography at night
For my latest vlog I drove up to Stanage Edge in the Peak district. It was still around sunset when I got there so there was still some colour in the sky - twilight / dusk kind of time. While the wind proved a bit of a problem for filming, I was really happy with some of the images I took.
...it wasn't until after I'd finished editing the video together that I realised I'd been facing in the direction of Manchester for most of the night. I filmed this video on the night of the terrible attack at Manchester Arena, in fact the orange glow of light pollution on the horizon in some of my shots is actually the light from Manchester.
